Transitions Class (5th / 6th)

• Students take responsibility for class environment (see job assignment chart)

• It is OUR classroom

• Charts are visual reminders of homework and class work assignments (reinforces responsibility)

• Students put up their stickers upon entering each morning

• Bulletin boards reinforce our guiding questions for each course for the 2010 school year

• Vocabulary words for all Humanities lessons and Math 6 are displayed throughout the year. (We are building a working vocabulary)

• Positive Incentives-Surfboards, rice jar and punch cards
