Volunteer Needs & Opportunities

HFS News & Special Events

Would you like to help us offer a wealth of activities and have lots of fun accomplishing great things for our community?  Harford Friends School is a community that desires and needs the active participation of not only its students and teachers, but also the parents of our students.  Coming together to work on school projects, as well as fun & fund- raisers makes our community richer, while getting tasks done.  Many hands make light work.  There are many varied volunteer options available.

Classroom Help: The lower school teachers need a volunteer for an hour each Friday afternoon to make copies in preparation for the coming week.

Field Trip drivers/chaperons: All classes take monthly trips for varied experiential learning opportunities.

HFS Library:  Help is needed to shelve, read and label books.  A 1-4 hours a month – schedule is flexible.
