HARFORD FRIENDS SCHOOL
2007-2008 ANNUAL GIVING CAMPAIGN
Dear Friends,
Harford Friends School opened for its third year, with grades 6 through 8, at the Highland Commons Building, in Street, Maryland after having spent its first two school years at Deer Creek Friends Meeting in Darlington, Maryland. The 100-year-old Highland Commons Building also houses a branch of the public library, a senior center, and a pre-school. Harford Friends School occupies the third floor and has access to the gymnasium, a stage, and fourteen acres of playing fields.
Thank you Deer Creek Meeting for your past support of HFS in providing a rent-free facility and thank you Highland Commons Community Association for encouraging HFS to move to its facility, which will have the space for the future growth of HFS including a lower school, scheduled to open fall 2008.
Harford Friends School has an Annual Giving Campaign goal of $150,000, which bridges the gap between the per student expense of $21, 064 and the $9,600 received in tuition. Your contribution will ease this gap. The HFS Board is committed to providing a solid, but affordable Friends education. Without your support, this commitment will go unfulfilled.
Please make your gift today.
Sincerely,
Paul Babikow
